Most people know Abercrombie & Fitch for its clothes, but Abercrombie & Fitch Perfumes are worth a look in their own right. The name you'll hear most is Fierce, a men's eau de cologne that launched in 2002 and became the scent the brand sprayed through its stores. When Inter Parfums took over the fragrance licence in late 2014, its CEO called Fierce the brand's top-selling scent. Inter Parfums still makes the range today, and you can find it at V Perfumes in the UAE.
The range is built in pairs, which makes it easy to shop. Authentic and Authentic Night each come as an EDT for men and an EDP for women. First Instinct has a men's EDT, plus Together and Sheer, two EDPs for women. Fierce is the odd one out, a men's cologne sold in 50 ml and 100 ml. So if you're buying for a couple, pick one name and get both versions. It's a neat idea for an anniversary gift, but if you'd rather give a ready-made box, our perfume gift sets are worth browsing too.
In the UAE heat, the label on the bottle usually tells you a lot, but Fierce is the exception. It's sold as an EDC, normally the lightest concentration, yet on Parfumo 857 users rate its longevity 7 out of 10. So it holds up better than the label suggests. The women's EDPs carry the most fragrance oil and tend to last into the evening, while the men's EDTs are lighter and suit the office or a trip to the mall.
