Aigner, founded in 1965, is a luxury brand known for sophisticated fragrances.
Aigner Perfumes come from a leather house in Munich. Etienne Aigner, a Hungarian-born designer, founded the brand in 1965 with businessman Heiner H. Rankl, and the horseshoe "A" on each bottle is the same logo you'll see on Aigner bags and belts. At V Perfumes, we list close to 30 Aigner perfumes for men and women.
Start with the men's fragrances, since it's the bigger collection. Aigner No.1 alone comes in five versions here: Pour Homme, Intense, Platinum, Oud and an 8 ml Sport mini that fits in a gym bag or desk drawer. Next to those sit Blue, Black and White, each a 125 ml EDT, plus First Class, Man2 and Initial. Initial comes as both an EDT and an EDP, so you can choose how strong you want it. The women's line is mostly EDPs, which usually last longer on skin than EDTs. Pick an EDP over an EDT. In the Aigner range, that means No.1 Oud, Initial EDP and most of the women's line, such as Debut, Starlight and Icon. In the UAE summer, spray your wrists and neck, layered over an unscented lotion and don't rub it in. Keep the bottle out of a hot car, too.
Go for No.1 Oud. Aigner launched it in 2014 as a Middle East-inspired version of the No.1 line, with oud, leather and saffron in the base. It's an EDP. We list it for men, but Fragrantica lists it for both men and women.
