Ajmal Perfumes Middle Eastern fragrance house specializing in luxurious oud, amber, and floral scents.
Ajmal Perfumes comes from a family business that has called Dubai home since the 1970s. Haji Ajmal Ali, a rice farmer from Assam in northeast India, started blending fragrant oils in Mumbai in 1951. His family opened the first Ajmal shop in Dubai in 1976, in Murshid Bazaar in Deira, and the brand still makes its perfumes at its own factory in Dubai. At V Perfumes, we list more than 80 Ajmal products, with delivery anywhere in the UAE.
About half the range is sprays, and unisex is the biggest group there, ahead of women's and then men's. Mukhallat Shams is a good unisex example. Mukhallat is the Arabic word for a blend. If you'd rather shop by label, Evoke Gold Edition is made for women and Evoke Midnight Edition for men. There are gift sets too, like the Aurum EDP set, which makes Eid shopping easier.
The rest of the range shows where Ajmal started, with oud. We carry more than 20 Ajmal perfume oils, many in small 10 g bottles such as Adorable Amber, Soul Mate and Moments of Joy. For something special, look at Dahn Al Oudh Al Muattaq, a 3 ml oud oil. Muattaq means aged in Arabic. A little oil goes a long way, so dab it on your wrists and neck rather than pouring it on. For more choice, browse our full perfume oils range. Ajmal also makes bakhoor for the home, the kind you burn when guests are coming or on Eid morning, and our bakhoor section has plenty to compare.
Order them online from V Perfumes, with delivery to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and every other emirate.
Yes. Ajmal set up its first manufacturing unit in Dubai in 1986 and is still based in the city today. The family also grows agarwood, the tree that oud comes from, on its own plantations in Assam.
A lot of them. Unisex is the largest group among the sprays, and many of the perfume oils are listed as unisex too. So you can pick by scent instead of by label, and one bottle can easily be shared at home.
Layer them. Dab a perfume oil on your pulse points first, then spray an EDP over the top. Don't rub your wrists together. In UAE summer, keep your bottles away from sunny windows and hot cars, since heat breaks perfume down faster.
