London-based niche perfume house Ormonde Jayne was founded in 2000 by Linda Pilkington. The line began as scented candles, but now also makes perfumes. The perfumes were created by Pilkington and Geza Schoen.
The brand started with home fragrances, including diffusers and scented candles. It also started its line of bath and body products. The brand’s founder, Linda Pilkington, and her sister were interested in creating beeswax candles. After struggling to make ends meet, they began working on home items and body products. Although the bath and body items were discontinued, the brand focused on creating enchanting and appealing fragrances. The fragrances are now available in the Middle East and other major areas.

Ormonde Jayne perfume range offers over fifty flawless fragrances. The earliest editions were launched in 2002. Ormonde Man is one of the earliest editions of the brand. It is a woody, spicy fragrance for men. The sweet, woodsy scent was launched in 2004. Geza Schoen created this cologne and it contains top notes of cardamom, pink pepper, juniper berries, bergamot, and coriander; middle notes of black hemlock or Tsuga and Agarwood (Oud); and base notes of cedar, sandalwood, vetiver, and musk.
On the other hand, the latest editions were launched in 2022. Formosa by Ormonde Jayne is a new fragrance for women and men. This fragrance was launched in 2022. Linda Pilkington is the nose behind this scent. Bergamot, citron, cardamom, and black currant are the top notes; green tea, osmanthus, and freesia are the middle notes; and tea leaf, cedar, sandalwood, and musk are the base notes.
