The best Givenchy perfumes for men in Saudi Arabia share one trick: they smell built, not just blended. That tracks once you know Givenchy made its name in couture first and only moved into fragrance in 1957, long after the dresses. The house treats a scent like a cut suit.
Here is the snag. The Gentleman line alone has spun off more than a dozen flankers, the bottles look near-identical on the shelf, and the 1974 original you might be picturing is not the one on sale today. So which ones actually deserve a place on your dresser? I wore the shortlist for about a week each, and these four are the ones I would hand a friend with no disclaimer.

Quick flag before you buy: this is the modern Gentleman from 2017, not the powdery 1974 original your uncle might have worn. Olivier Cresp and Nathalie Lorson built it on pear and cardamom up top, with iris and a soft leather-and-vanilla base that reads grown-up without trying hard. It sits at moderate projection and runs about five to seven hours, leaning a little warmer as the day goes on. That balance makes it the safe yes for work, then dinner, then whatever comes after, which is why it outsells most of the line here. My one gripe is that it plays it safe, so if you want something attention-grabbing this is not it, but as an everyday Givenchy perfume for men it rarely puts a foot wrong.

This is the one you grab when you do not want to think about it. Grapefruit and bergamot open it bright and clean, then a little pepper and cardamom keep it from sliding into boring. It stays close to the skin and runs about four to six hours, so it will not flood a meeting room or bother the guy next to you in the lift. For Riyadh daytime and heavily air-conditioned offices, that restraint is the whole point. The honest catch is that the same softness means it fades faster than the others here, so keep it for the day, not the long night out.

Givenchy Pi EDT, 100ml Sold by V Perfumes · Free delivery over SAR 200 · Cash on delivery Buy now at V Perfumes KSA → |
Pi is the old soul of this list, and it has stayed in demand for a reason. The opening is herby and citrusy with tarragon and basil, but the real story is the base: vanilla, almond, tonka and benzoin, that sweet-woody dry-down that feels like comfort food in a bottle. It runs moderate, roughly four to six hours, and it shines on cooler desert evenings rather than midday. Saudi guys who like a gourmand lean keep coming back to this one. Wear it to a winter majlis and someone will lean in to ask what it is.

Save this one for occasions. A quick flash of bergamot, then it drops into a whiskey accord wrapped around powdery iris and roasted chestnut, finishing on amber and warm woods. It is the dressed-up cousin of the line, the bottle you reach for at a wedding or a late Eid dinner when you want the scent to do some of the talking. Longevity sits around six to eight hours with a polished projection that stays present without shouting. If you want one statement Givenchy for the nights that count in Saudi Arabia, this is it.
Go for Blue Label. It leans fresh and clean, so it holds up in the heat far better than the sweet, vanilla-heavy bottles, which can feel cloying once the temperature climbs.
No. The bottle sold now is the 2017 reformulation, built on pear, cardamom and a leather-vanilla base. The original 1974 Gentleman is a different, more powdery scent.
Gentleman Reserve Privée. The whiskey, iris and amber read dressy and refined, which suits a formal Eid evening or a wedding without being loud.
