Versace Eau Fraiche EDT is the men's fragrance perfumer Olivier Cresp created in 2006 as a fresher, more aquatic take on Versace Man. At V Perfumes, it comes in 30ml, 50ml, 100ml and 200ml alongside the rest of our Versace perfumes.
Bergamot, rosewood, cardamom, lemon and carambola open it, sage, cedar and pepper fill the heart, and the base is amber, saffron, musk, woody notes and platanus.
Filed as aquatic, yet no sea note appears in the list. The watery feel comes from carambola, the star fruit, which smells juicy and a little green, sitting next to lemon and bergamot. Two notes are in unusual spots. Cedar, normally a base material, sits in the heart here, so the woods show up early. Saffron, often an opening spice, is held back for the base. Platanus is the plane tree, and together with the woody notes and musk, it keeps the finish dry.
